Shipping and Delivery.

Once your order has been placed online, you will receive an automatic email confirming your order. This is your receipt and should be retained for your records, in our effort to save tree's we do not include an invoice in your order. This email will contain an order number at the top, a detailed list of your order, as well as the shipping and billing details as provided by the purchaser. Please check it over for accuracy and notify us at once if you notice any discrepancies. If you do not receive this email, contact us ASAP. Your email address may have been typed incorrectly or this email may have been filter by a SPAM blocker set on your email program, many email providers will routinely block emails as SPAM.

Shipping Costs

For all orders under R2000 a shipping fee of R135 will apply for the rest of the country and R125 for Gauteng.

How long should my order take to be delivered?

We always strive to ship orders in a timely manner and quicker than the times indicated. Orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days of payment clearing in our bank account (does not include Saturday, Sundays or South African holidays). Your parcel will be sent by courier, please allow up to  5 days for delivery, if you are in an outlying area it can take another day or two.

  • Transit Times:(Once leaving Art On Steel)
  • To Pretoria: 1 - 2 Working Days
  • To Main Centres: 2 - 3 Working Days
  • To Regional Areas: 2 - 5 Working Days
  • To Remote Areas: 5 - 7 Working Days

Not In stock, can ship within 3-4 weeks: 

  • Leaves Art On Steel: Within 3-4 weeks from placing your order
  • Transit Times:(Once leaving Art On Steel)

When do you deliver?

Our couriers delivers from Monday to Friday between 08h00 – 17:00.

Can you deliver after hours & on weekends?

No unfortunately not.

Can you deliver on public holidays?

No unfortunately not.

Shipping delays

We always try our best to ensure that your package arrives within the stipulated delivery times or sooner. Of course, there are some things that are beyond our control like weather, delivery errors, courier services & supplier delays. Regardless of the reason for the delay, we will inform you as soon as we know of any impending delays.

Can you split my delivery, sending in-stock items first and the rest later?

No, we send everything together.

On every product page, you can see whether an item is ‘in-stock’ or if there is a ‘lead time’ which is the time it takes to manufacture the new item.

For the most efficient delivery service, we wait until all your items are in stock before delivering them to you in one go. This means that some lead time items could hold up the delivery of your in-stock items.

Returns and Refunds Policy

If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of receiving it, and we will replace the item or give you a credit. No refunds for sale items or custom items under any circunstances.

How we process your refund

 Returns within 14 days

You will be offered an Art on Steel voucher or a product exchange. If you specifically require another form of refund (i.e. credit card or EFT), a 7% fee of the refund amount may be charged. Refunds are handled within 6 to 8 working days of logging the return (refunds can take up to 3 working days to reflect in your account once processed due to banking timelines).

Damaged goods

Goods purchased with vouchers or gift cards

We cannot refund in cash, purchases made with a gift voucher. We will either reinstate the used gift voucher or issue you with a new one.

Gift Vouchers

Art on Steel Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. Art on Steel Gift Vouchers cannot be resold to- or exchanged with a third party. You cannot use an Art on Steel Gift Voucher to purchase another Art On Steel Gift Voucher. Art on Steel Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed online through our website (www.artonsteel.co.za)
